12/8 and 12/9: Native Americans: Contact and Conflict
On Wednesday, we watched a really interesting video called, "Native Americans: Contact and Conflict", about what really happened to the Native Americans when the Europeans arrived to this country. We took notes on the video.
On Thursday, we created a comic strip explaining 3 facts about contact, and 3 facts about conflict. The students used their notes from the video.

Wednesday 12/1/10
Today, we finished up our open-book tests and then started making a brochure listing facts about the U.S. and Canada. The brochure will be done in class and is due on Friday. :)
